How We Work Together
I know the photoshoot process can be a little overwhelming. What will you wear? Where will you go? How will you get your children to behave? To help ease any nerves, please know that I’m here to help through the entire process!
Once you have booked a session I will send over a prep packet outlining the photoshoot process, but here is a quick overview of the timeline.
There are so many amazing locations to shoot in Denver and the surrounding area. Many of my clients like heading into nature for their shoot location. I am an outdoor enthusiast, so when I am not taking photos, I am constantly looking for amazing locations for photo opportunities. Some great outdoor locations require a short hike, while others are right off the path. I can help select what’s right for you and your family.

During our photo session, I like have to FUN with your children and often bring an adult beverage for those who need a little extra help relaxing. This isn't your "run of the mill" photography session! We goof around, go on hikes, have you wrestle and tickle your kiddos, blow bubbles, chase dogs, lay on blankets under Colorado skies, and cuddle your little loves.

For those who like to stay a little closer to home, I offer shoots in my studio, on-location in the city, and anywhere in between. I am happy to collaborate with clients on location ideas, to shoot at an exact place they have in mind, or to take the creative lead. My clients are always thrilled with their photos and the moments captured at our session!
All sessions are shot in the evening for optimal lighting; the time frame of this will depend upon the season and location.

Deciding on a wardrobe for family photos can be a little stressful, so I take that part and make it easy for you. I love figuring out your style and putting together some great outfits for everyone in your family to get the "look" you want for the shoot. This is a complimentary service with all photo sessions, if you are interested.
