You can pay with a credit card via Square, with cash/check in person, or by sending a check through the mail. I do offer payment plans. Prints and/or digital products will not be delivered until payment is paid in full.
Two weeks after your shoot date, you will receive an email with instructions on how to view and download your photos in a private, online gallery that is password protected. You will be able to share this gallery and password with your friends and family.
Yes! I only offer all inclusive packages.
You can expect to have fun! The more relaxed you are, the easier it is for me to do my job, and the more fun you will have. I take care of many important aspects so that you can relax and be yourself. My assistant and I make sure to fix your hair if it looks out of place, guide you on how to pose, and even suggest what to wear if you'd like. Just expect to act like yourself with a few more smiles than usual. If you have kiddos, try and let us ease them into the photos while you interact with them, like you are on a very smiley play date.
All newborn shoots take place at my home studio, or at your home (lifestyle newborn shoot). Family and other standard shoots can take place at a predetermined location of your choice and/or at my home studio.
Colorado weather can have a mind of it's own. If the weather turns out to be warmer or cooler than you anticipated when putting together outfits, please adjust what everyone is wearing. Doing a session when it's sweltering hot, and children are over dressed, is never fun. Likewise, if a cold front comes through unexpectedly, please put sweaters on your children, as I cannot photoshop out goose bumps and blue lips. I will most likely cut sessions short if I think children are too cold and/or overheated.
In case of rain, I will be watching the radar all day. If it doesn't rain, but is overcast, we will have to shoot without full sun, which is still flattering! If it is pouring rain, or there are heavy gusts of wind, we will reschedule a new shoot date to take place within two weeks of the original shoot date.
I do not offer refunds, but deposits are transferable if you reschedule two weeks prior to your shoot date. If we have to move the shoot to a different date/time due to weather, you will not be charged. Emergencies are always understandable. Please reach out if there is an emergency.
You can print anywhere you like. However, this is why you shouldn't. Only high end printing companies sync their printers with calibrators, the same ones that I sync mine with. This makes for optimal color and quality. Many lower end labs use an auto correct option on their machines that either over exposes prints, leaving bright white spots on your photos, or leaves a blue, red, or green film over your photos. You hired a professional photographer to take your photos, have them printed professionally as well.
I will absolutely respect your wish for privacy. I ask clients to sign a voluntary contract at the beginning of their session granting me the copyright to all images taken at their session. I generally use them on all social media platforms to endorse Sarah Renee Photography as a brand. If you have concerns regarding the use of your photos, please discuss it with me before we book your session and we will absolutely work something out to make you feel comfortable.
I do not photograph births at this time, but I am more than happy to refer you to amazing birth photographers.
I shoot with a Nikon D750.
Absolutely! See travel fees below.
Yes. If travel time from the SRP studio to the shoot location exceeds 30 minutes, SRP will charge $50 per hour, prorated in 15 minute increments, over and above the 30 minutes of included travel time.
For example, if the roundtrip drive to and from the shoot location takes two hours, the client is charged a travel fee of $50. This fee will be added to the client’s final invoice.
